Thermal baths in the Black Forest

Also spelled Schwarzwald

Thermal baths in Black Forest spa towns, from Baden-Baden, Gaggenau and Bad Wildbad in the north to Freiburg, Badenweiler and Bad Säckingen in the south, nearly all fed by thermal springs, with warm pools mostly at 32 to 36 °C. Sauna areas are textile-free at Caracalla Therme, Keidel Therme, Vita Classica-Therme and Palais Thermal among others, and Friedrichsbad in Baden-Baden is bathed without swimwear on five days a week. Several baths keep a women-only sauna day, among them Rotherma and Cassiopeia Therme on Wednesdays and Paracelsus-Therme in Bad Liebenzell on Thursdays.
