About Caracalla Therme

The water rises at the foot of the Florentinerberg at up to 68.8 °C, which the operator calls the hottest mineral water in Baden-Württemberg. About half of it comes through the Friedrichsstollen, one of three tunnels that gathered the springs at the end of the 19th century. Outdoors, a waterfall runs down a porphyry wall into the warm pool, and a huge plane tree shades the loungers. The sauna floor backs onto the Schlossberg, and its GreatSpa sauna looks out over Baden-Baden.
