About Rotherma

Rotenfels was given the title 'Bad' by the state of Baden-Württemberg on 11 April 1972, and the town chronicle lists the Rotherma thermal mineral bath among the buildings opened between 1976 and 1983. In the Felsensauna, infusions on even weeks are done with singing bowls, and the round ends under rock showers and in a silent rest room. The 75 °C Panorama Sauna holds Wenigk infusions on odd weeks. The 75 m² Salzwelt is built from 40 tonnes of Himalayan salt, which the operator dates at 250 million years old. From the bath's rest rooms you look out onto green lawns, and the sun terrace faces the Black Forest hills.
