About QC Terme Bagni Nuovi
The engineer Giovanni Donegani built the hotel and bathhouse, five storeys on a rectangular plan, and after years of neglect it was restored at the start of this century and went back to being a spa hotel. From the hotel a footpath enters the Bagni park, past the Castellanella, the first plant to bottle the thermal water, and the Cascata Cassiodora, one of the nine thermal springs. It ends at the Fonte Pliniana, where warm water runs from a small fountain inside an artificial grotto. Back in the spa, the biosauna sits in a wooden chalet with traditional music playing inside.
