Cala Brandinchi
A fine sand beach backed by a pine wood and junipers north of San Teodoro, looking out to the island of Tavolara, with a lagoon behind it that dries out in summer. Giuseppe Garibaldi sailed from Brandinchi for Piombino in October 1867 after slipping the blockade of Caprera, according to the comune.

Expect the sea at about 25 °C in August and 14 °C in January, going by the 1991 to 2020 averages. The swimming season runs from June to October.
Getting in
- Access
- Reached from the SS125 by turning off at Lutturai and following a dirt road, according to the comune. Bookings open at 18:00 for the day after next, up to 6 people per booking and one booking per person per day, on santeodorospiagge.it or the San Teodoro Spiagge app; show the QR code at the entrance. The booking does not include parking. From 1 June to 30 September 2026 entry needs an online booking and a paid environmental contribution, capped at 1,447 people a day; without a booking access by land or by sea is banned, even just passing through. No animals. Smoking banned on the beach except in two signed smoking areas; tents, gazebos and sleeping bags banned; taking sand, pebbles or shells is banned and fined under regional rules.
