Török Fürdő Eger (Eger Turkish Bath)

The Turkish pool in Eger's Turkish Bath was built between 1610 and 1617, under Ottoman rule, and later pools were added by bishop Barkóczy in 1742 and bishop Eszterházy in 1795 under a dome laid with about 200,000 gilded mosaic tiles. Radon medicinal water at about 30 °C rises through the stone floor of the three old pools.
