Obermain Therme

Drilling in 1975 struck hot, highly mineralised brine at more than 1,300 metres, and the baths opened in 1986. The 25 indoor and outdoor pools hold the brine diluted to about sea-water strength, with a 12 per cent brine pool at 36 °C, and the SaunaLand has eleven themed saunas around a natural swimming lake.
