Thermal baths in Bad Staffelstein

Bad Staffelstein lies in the upper Main valley in Upper Franconia, about 25 km north of Bamberg and 17 km south of Coburg. The Obermain Therme fills its pools with brine from a deep well, a three-minute walk from the station. Across the valley, the pilgrimage basilica of Vierzehnheiligen and Banz Abbey face each other from the hillsides.
