Elounda Beach
The municipal beach of Elounda, a sandy beach right beside the harbour in Schisma, Elounda's main settlement, 10 km from Agios Nikolaos. Since May 2026 it has a Seatrac, a fixed mechanism that lets people with reduced mobility get into the sea unaided.

Expect the sea at about 25 °C in July and 16 °C in January, going by the 1991 to 2020 averages. The swimming season runs from May to November.
