About Sibyllenbad
The spa house stands about a kilometre outside Bad Neualbenreuth, and the eight-hectare spa park opposite sits on the highest point of the spa quarter, looking towards the Tillenberg. Its chess board stands by a pergola facing the Bohemian border ridge. In the basement a drinking fountain pours the carbonated Sibyllen spring water free for guests. The eight saunas are built in a modern Bauhaus style, and the rest areas are split into many small closed-off rooms. Radon baths from the Katharinen spring have been given here for more than 35 years, and the spa says they are used for lasting pain relief in rheumatic and joint conditions.
