About MineralTherme Bad Boll

The baths belong to the Kurhaus Bad Boll, which dates its history to 1595, when Duke Friedrich I of Württemberg had a sulphur spring captured and commissioned his court architect Heinrich Schickhardt to build a bath. The neoclassical main building went up from 1823 to 1825, and fango packs of finely ground Posidonia shale were first used here in 1833. The MineralTherme was inaugurated in 1976, and the present bathhouse opened in 2008. The well lies about 300 m from the clinic, and the clinic puts its heat down to a thermal anomaly under Bad Boll.
