Les Bains du Rocher
A thermal spa in the Pyrenean village of Cauterets, fed by the same naturally hot sulphur water as the town's cure baths, which leaves the ground at 53 to 60 °C and reaches the pools at 33 to 35 °C. An indoor pool with bubble beds and swan-neck jets leads to a 200 m² outdoor lagoon facing the mountains, with a hammam, sauna and salt-stone relaxation room.

About Les Bains du Rocher
The Bains du Rocher go back to the early 1800s, when mayor Bruzaud had the springs piped down into the village, which let Cauterets build the Thermes de César and the Rocher baths. The Rocher spring was one of five in Cauterets declared of public utility between 1859 and 1866. Inside, high ceilings hung with pampille chandeliers and moulded plasterwork recall a Belle Époque salon, over a floor of jade pebbles and walls of calade, round sand-coloured stones. The outdoor lagoon is set against the side of the rock.
