Getting in

Access
The park suggests the sea shuttle, minibus or bike for Les Goudes, as the coastal road south of Marseille can get busy at peak hours and on summer weekends. The park says the two small beaches, Les Goudes and La Maronaise, are not lifeguarded and can get busy in summer, advises against swimming from the rocks when the sea is rough, and warns that currents on the southern coast from Mont Rose to Cap Croisette and Les Goudes can be unpredictable, with fatal accidents every year. Inside the Calanques National Park; the surrounding hills close on fire-danger days. From 1 June to 30 September the Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture sets access to the forest massifs day by day (order of 22 April 2025, partly revised 9 July 2026): green allows access, red bans it, and the map for the next day is published around 18:00. Dogs banned all year on all Marseille bathing zones; smoking, alcohol, loud music and naturism banned on Marseille beaches; dives from more than 3 m off rocks, quays and cliffs banned along the whole Marseille coast.
Public transport
RTM bus 19 (direction Madrague de Montredon) to the terminus, then bus 20 (direction Callelongue) to the Les Goudes stop. In peak season RTM sea shuttles run from the Vieux-Port to Les Goudes via La Pointe Rouge.
