About Kalma Saun
The architect was Aleksander Vladovski, and the first owner, Paul Vinter, opened what Visit Estonia calls the most modern sauna in Tallinn of its day. The name is short for Kalamaja sauna, and the sign over the main door still reads "Kalma saun". The building has been renovated several times and keeps its large lobby; on the men's side the changing room has underfloor heating, and the bar sells soft drinks and sauna supplies.
