Swimming in Caprera

A bridge joins Caprera to La Maddalena, in the archipelago off north-east Sardinia about 30 km north of Olbia. On its east side, Cala Coticcio is a small sand cove in a strictly protected zone of the national park, reached on land with a park guide. Waymarked paths cross the rest of the island, and boat tours of the archipelago leave from La Maddalena town, about 7 km west.
