Plage de l'Almanarre
L'Almanarre is a beach of nearly 5 km along the Route du Sel, one of the two sand tombolos that join the Giens peninsula to the mainland, with the old salt pans and their flamingos across the road. In west winds it fills with windsurfers and kitesurfers, and the road behind it is closed to cars in winter.
