Swimming in Hyères

Hyères is the town at the root of the Giens peninsula, about 18 km east of Toulon, with Toulon-Hyères airport on its edge. L'Almanarre runs down the western of the two sandbars that tie the peninsula to the mainland. About 7 km north, on the hill above the old town, the Villa Noailles is an art centre with free exhibitions of design, fashion and photography.
