Thermal baths in Edinburgh
Edinburgh lies on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, and its saunas follow the coast, from Granton in the north to Portobello, the seaside suburb about 5 km east of the city center, with another near Leith Links. Portobello has both a wood-fired sauna on the promenade and the Turkish baths in the public swim center. Arthur's Seat, the hill in Holyrood Park, is about 4 km west of Portobello.
