Thermal baths in Veržej

Veržej is a small town on the Mura plain in north-east Slovenia, with Ljutomer about 8 km to the south and Murska Sobota about 9 km to the north. Terme Banovci, just outside the town, cools deep, fluoride-rich water for its indoor and outdoor thermal pools and has a sauna village.

    Thermal bath, Veržej · Outdoor swimming pool, children's pool and slides open in summer only (slides 20 June to 31 August 2026). The naturist (FKK) pools and sauna are for the resort's accommodation guests only.

    Terme Banovci opened its first thermal bathing pool in 1968 and its first covered thermal pool in 1989; the fluoride-rich thermo-mineral water rises from 1,700 metres at 58 to 60 °C and is cooled for bathing.
