About Talaso Strunjan, Vitarium Spa & Thalasso (Hotel Svoboda)

Talaso Strunjan stands among the pines of the Strunjan Landscape Park, and the Svoboda Hotel's rooms look out over the salt pans, where salt is still made by traditional methods. The seawater in the pools is mostly sodium chloride, with notable magnesium and sulfate. The steam sauna comes with a salt scrub from the Sečovlje salt pans. The operator says Strunjan's air, with about 2,300 hours of sun a year and a winter bora, suits the treatment of asthma and other respiratory diseases.
