Terme Dobrna
The Dobrna thermal spring is first recorded in 1403, and the operator says its water has been used systematically since the early 17th century. The public pools in Hotel Vita hold healing thermal water: an indoor pool and children's pools at 32 °C, an outdoor pool at 28 to 29 °C, and a whirlpool at 35 to 36 °C.

About Terme Dobrna
Slovene settlers called the upper village Toplice, after the warm water, and the lower one Dobrna, after the oak (dob) that grew all around. The spa passed through the Gačnik, Dienersperg and Hoyos families, was bought by the Styrian provincial government in the mid 19th century and went into state ownership in 1908. In the spa park, laid out in 1820, a pavilion that was once the studio of the photographers Kvas and Pelikan now holds a drinking fountain whose four taps run natural, chilled, lightly sparkling and sparkling thermal water.
