Wellness Center Praid
Wellness Center Praid is an indoor pool center opened on 3 July 2015 opposite the entrance to the Salt Mountain and Salt Canyon reserve in Praid. One of its two 20 m pools holds salty, carbonated thermal water drawn from 1,000 m deep and kept in three temperature zones; the other is a freshwater swimming pool.

About Wellness Center Praid
The operator's analysis of the thermal water gives a dry residue of 156 g per liter, with calcium, magnesium and iron among what is dissolved in it. The operator recommends it for chronic rheumatic complaints and the after-effects of injuries to bones, joints and muscles, and lists stage II and III high blood pressure among the conditions that rule it out. The building covers 1,900 m² with another 7,500 m² of land around it, including an enclosed courtyard with grass and parking, and the view from inside looks out over the salt country around Praid. Beside the two big pools are a children's pool 60 cm deep, two jacuzzis, two steam baths and a fitness room.
