Venus Waterland
Venus Waterland is the summer pool complex of Turism Felix at Băile 1 Mai, a spa village just south of Oradea, with thermomineral pools, an Olympic swimming pool, children's pools and slides. The operator recommends adults stay at most 20 minutes at a time in the thermomineral pools, followed by a 10 to 15 minute break.

About Venus Waterland
Băile 1 Mai is home to the thermal water lily, which Turism Felix says lives only here, at Lake Pețea. It was first recorded by the botanist Kitaibel in 1789 and made a natural monument in 1931, and when the lake's level fell, the first plants were moved in 2015 to the reserve at Băile Felix. The flowers open at dusk and close between 10 and 12 in the morning. At Venus itself, the house rules ban jumping in, splashing and noisy play, and once it reaches capacity further visitors go in only as others leave.
