Thermal baths in Szaflary
Szaflary is a village in Podhale, on the road between Nowy Targ, about 10 km north, and Zakopane, about 15 km south. Termy Gorący Potok fills its outdoor pools with sulphurous geothermal water and keeps an adults-only, textile-free sauna zone. At Kuźnice, on the edge of Zakopane, a cable car climbs Kasprowy Wierch and an easy track leads up to the Kalatówki meadow.

Six outdoor pools hold sulphurous geothermal water at 32 to 40 °C, among them one with a wooden bar in the middle and the Siarcane Koloseum, where a stone fountain pours hot water into the pool.
