A thermal bath in Bukowina Tatrzańska fed by the Bukowina Tatrzańska PIG-PNiG 1 borehole, which draws water of about 10,000 years' age from 2,400 m at 67 °C and is cooled to 30 to 38 °C for the pools. The sulphate, sulphide and fluoride water has a mineral content of up to 1.7 g per litre, and the textile-free sauna zone is for adults.

About Termy Bukovina

The water fell as rain and snow on the lower forested ridges of the Tatras and seeped down beneath the sandstone and shale of the Podhale basin. The borehole sits on the north-west slope of Wysoki Wierch and yields 48 m³ an hour. The pools lie about 1,000 m above sea level, 15 km from Zakopane, beside Tatra National Park with a view of the Tatras. On recurring Pool Nights (Noc Basenów), DJs play club music over the water.
