About Fauna Sauna
Both saunas are named after animals. Hummeren, with ten places and a view over the sea and the tidal zone, takes its name from the big lobster caught under it while it was being built. Oter is named for a commuting otter on the breakwater; it has fifteen seats, a small window and a stove with extra stones, built as a traditional Finnish sauna. There's a fire pit too. The association that runs the site is a volunteer members' club, started with the dream of making saunas part of the national health service.
