About Karolio Dineikos sveikatingumo parko kaskadų ir pirties kompleksas
The park was founded roughly a century ago around a cure of sun, air and movement, and guests were already using cascades on the Ratnyčėlė back then; old photographs show Poland's Marshal Piłsudski toughening himself in them. After the Second World War, under Karolis Dineika, whose name it now carries, it gained solariums, an acupressure foot pool and a pavilion for breathing ionized air. Druskininkai's tourism center describes the cascades as a kind of hydromassage, with the falling stream doing the masseur's work. The sauna has a stone stove weighing half a ton and two panoramic windows onto the river.
