Thermal baths in Tivoli

Tivoli climbs the Tiburtini Mountains along the Aniene river, about 30 km east of Rome, and is known for Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa. On the plain below at Tivoli Terme, Terme di Roma takes milky sulfur water from the Acque Albule springs for an indoor spa pool and summer outdoor pools.
