Thermal baths in San Quirico d'Orcia
San Quirico d'Orcia is in the Val d'Orcia, a valley on UNESCO's World Heritage list, about 40 km south-east of Siena. About 5 km south, the hamlet of Bagno Vignoni has a thermal pool for a square that is closed to bathers, so visitors get in the water at the outdoor pools of La Posta. Pienza, where dairies and shops sell the local pecorino cheese, is about 8 km north-east.

Thermal bath, San Quirico d'Orcia · Bathing only in La Posta’s pools: the village square pool and the mill basins below are closed to bathers
The medieval square in Bagno Vignoni is one big thermal pool, but it is closed to bathers, as are the old mill basins below the village.
