Thermal baths in Húsavík
Húsavík is a harbour town on Skjálfandi bay on Iceland's north-east coast, about 50 km north-east of Akureyri. Whale-watching boats leave from the harbour for trips out into the bay. GeoSea's pools are on the headland just north of it, below the lighthouse and facing out over the water.

Hot seawater from two drillholes, one on Húsavíkurhöfði and one by Húsavík harbor, runs through the pools and over their edges into the sea, so no cleaning agents are used.
