Thermal baths in Wolkenstein

Wolkenstein stands on a rock above the Zschopau valley in the Ore Mountains of Saxony, about 21 km south-east of Chemnitz and 11 km north of Annaberg-Buchholz. The Silber-Therme is just outside the town in the spa village of Warmbad, with three warm pools and an earth sauna dug into the ground.

    A thermal bath in the spa village of Warmbad near Wolkenstein in the Ore Mountains, filled with state-recognised healing water from the Warmbad spring, known since the Middle Ages, which the operator calls the warmest in Saxony at 26.5 °C.
