Thermal baths in Bad Reichenhall
Bad Reichenhall sits in a basin of the Berchtesgaden Alps on the Austrian border, about 15 km from Salzburg. The Predigtstuhl cable car leaves from the Kirchberg district, about 2 km south, and climbs 1,140 m in under ten minutes to a summit at 1,614 m. The RupertusTherme draws its brine from the town's salt works.
