Bad Königshofen sits in the Grabfeld, a farming region in the north of Lower Franconia close to the Thuringian border, about 35 km north of Schweinfurt. The FrankenTherme has pools of medicinal water from the town's springs, a plant-cleaned outdoor lake that opens in summer and saunas in half-timbered huts.
