Spa Les Nériades
Les Nériades is the thermal spa of Néris-les-Bains, set in the town's old pentagonal thermal building, which stands on the ruins of the Roman baths. Under a glass roof it has indoor and outdoor pools of thermal water from a spring that rises at 53 °C, an underwater music pool, a hammam and a panoramic sauna looking over the outdoor pool.

About Spa Les Nériades
Legend has it that Neptune meant to marry the 50 nereids to the sons of Triton, that one refused and fled on her chariot of fire to her lover Dus, and that Neptune's storm buried her underground, where the springs of Néris burst from her tomb. The water has been known for 2,400 years and comes up at 60 cubic meters an hour; the operator credits its high lithium content, in part, for a soothing effect. Up the front steps, the hall has, under a glass roof, a circular basin that runs into a landscaped garden. The old bath building's interior was entirely redone in a spare style of wood and stone.
