A family thermal bath in Amnéville's leisure park with about 1,000 m² of pools filled with Saint Eloi thermal water, pumped from 900 m down in the pink Vosges sandstone. About Thermapolis

Thermapolis first opened in 1996. The decor travels: a cave area modelled on the Sigiriya caves in Sri Lanka, a Moorish section of coloured tile fragments, and an Egyptian section with frescoes, where marble slabs heated to 37 °C are laid out for lying on. The operator says the Saint Eloi water fell as rain on the Vosges about 25,000 years ago and is rich in iron. The panoramic sauna has a wall of Himalayan salt, and the Scandinavian shower tips a traditional bucket of cold water over you.
