Thermal baths in Muonio

Muonio is a village on the E8 road in western Lapland, on the Muonionjoki river that forms the border with Sweden, about an hour by road from Kittilä airport. Lake Jerisjärvi, about 20 km east, lies beside Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, where marked trails cross the fells.
