Termály Losiny
All nine indoor and outdoor pools at Termály Losiny are fed from the Žerotín sulphurous thermal spring, which rises from more than 1,000 metres at about 36 °C, and are kept at 34 to 36 °C. The sulphur water blackens silver, and its healing use is recorded in a 16th-century balneology book by the physician Jordán z Klausenburku.

About Termály Losiny
Velké Losiny has five mineral springs, warm and cold, and their near-identical make-up points to a common origin; the main dissolved element is hydrogen sulphide, at 4.507 mg per litre. The cold Karel spring can be tasted from a wooden gazebo in the spa woodland park. Indoors, the large active pool has a cave with a waterfall, and the panoramic pool sits upstairs among the tepidaria, saunas and an ice chamber. From late May to September a swim-through channel links the indoor hall to the outdoor pools.
