Therme Laa

Opened in 2002, with every pool fed by the Laa Thermal Nord I spring, a sodium chloride iodine thermal water that rises at 42 °C. The operator calls its 2010 family textile sauna Austria's first, and the SILENT SPA for guests from 16 followed in 2016.

Proper swimwear covering the genitals in the thermal bath. The sauna world is run as a nude area (Freikörperbereich); swimwear is allowed only in the textile sauna in the public thermal bath.

About Therme Laa

Ground was broken in 2001, and the spring, Laa Thermal Nord I, delivers 6.3 litres a second at a pH of 7.36. The Weinviertel Sauna is built like an old wine cellar and runs as either a classic sauna or a bio sauna at up to 52 °C. The Teich Sauna has a panorama window onto the sauna garden, which the Kittenberger Erlebnisgärten replanted in 2023 with plants suited to the site. Outdoors, the brine pool is the warmest at 35 to 36 °C and plays music underwater, and indoors the Fantasia slide runs 90 metres under an artificial starry sky past a coloured waterfall.
