Thermal baths in Laa an der Thaya
Laa an der Thaya is a small town in the Weinviertel, on the Thaya river at the Czech border, about 55 km north of Vienna. Therme Laa fills every pool from a local iodine-bearing thermal spring. About 10 km north-east at Wildendürnbach, a cellar lane of whitewashed press houses circles the vineyard hill of Galgenberg, and the cellars open for tastings on summer open days.
