Swimming in Stintino

Stintino is at the north-west tip of Sardinia, on a narrow peninsula facing the island of Asinara, about 35 km north of Alghero airport. La Pelosa lies about 3.5 km further on, a beach of fine white sand looking out to a watchtower on a rock islet. Boats from Stintino cross to Asinara, a national park you get round on foot, by bike or on guided tours.
