Swimming in Siniscola

About 40 km south of Olbia airport, Siniscola is a town on Sardinia's east coast. South-east of the town, Berchida is a long curve of white sand where junipers grow on the dunes and a small river ends in a pond behind the beach. Inland, hiking paths climb Monte Albo, the white limestone ridge that rises about 20 km west of the beach.
