Swimming in Saint-Julien-du-Verdon
Saint-Julien-du-Verdon is a small village on the shore of the Lac de Castillon in the upper Verdon valley, about 8 km north of Castellane. Plage du Touron, a grass beach, is a short walk from the village centre. In Castellane a path climbs for about 30 minutes from the town to the chapel of Notre-Dame du Roc on the rock above it.
