Swimming in Nice
Nice curves round the Baie des Anges, with Nice Côte d'Azur airport on its western edge. The Ponchettes is a pebble beach on the seafront by the old town, and east of the port Coco Beach is a run of rock ledges where people get in straight off the rocks. Castle Hill, just behind the Ponchettes, is a park of shaded paths with a waterfall and a view over the bay.
