Swimming in Le Lavandou

Le Lavandou is a harbour town below the Maures hills, about 21 km east of Hyères, with the islands of Port-Cros and Le Levant offshore. Plage de Saint-Clair faces them from the eastern edge of town, with a footpath round the rocks from the harbour. From the same harbour, boats cross to Port-Cros and Le Levant, and to Porquerolles in season.
