Swimming in La Croix-Valmer
La Croix-Valmer looks over the Bay of Cavalaire from the south-west corner of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, about 9 km from Saint-Tropez. Plage de Gigaro lies at its eastern end, a sand beach at the gate of the protected Domaine du Cap Lardier. From the beach the coastal path heads into the Domaine from cove to cove, with Cap Lardier itself about 3 km south-east.
