Swimming in Ensuès-la-Redonne

On the Côte Bleue, the cliff coast west of Marseille, Ensuès-la-Redonne is about 25 minutes from the city by the train that runs along it. Its swim is the Calanque de Méjean, a pair of inlets reached by a lane beside the tracks or by the coastal path. From La Redonne a waymarked walk follows the cliffs east to the harbour at Niolon, and the train brings you back.
