Swimming in Aiguines
Aiguines is a hill village above the east end of the Lac de Sainte-Croix, where the Verdon leaves its gorge, about 6 km from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie as the crow flies. Its beach is down at the Galetas bridge, where hired boats head upstream into the gorge. The Corniche Sublime, the road along the south rim of the Verdon gorge, starts from the village and runs past a string of lookouts.
