About Kiln Sauna, Flushing Beach
The operator describes its saunas as mobile, handcrafted by a workshop on Cornwall's north coast, with a panoramic window onto the sea. A small sheltered space in front of the sauna chamber holds your belongings. Coming back from a plunge in the sea, guests wash their feet in a bucket before going in, and staff come round to top up the wood stove during the session. Water goes on the stones by ladle, a drizzle at a time and only the sauna water provided. The same operator runs saunas at Gyllyngvase Beach in Falmouth and above Porthmeor Beach in St Ives.
