Köyceğiz stands on the northern shore of Lake Köyceğiz in Muğla province, about 30 km north of Dalaman airport. The Sultaniye hot springs are across the water on the south-western shore, about 5 km from Dalyan, with mud and warm pools close to the lake’s edge.
