Thermal baths in Sirmione
Sirmione runs out along a narrow peninsula at the southern end of Lake Garda, about 30 km west of Verona. In the old town, the Terme di Sirmione Spa & Thermal Garden fills its pools with warm sulphurous water from a spring under the lake. A few minutes' walk away, you can climb the walls and keep of the Scaliger castle, which stands in the water at the old town gate.
